ABOUT
Selina Reiterer is an Artist and Textile Designer born 1985 in Bregenz, Austria. Working between the fields of art and design her work focuses on creating textiles and conducting material research. Combining a curiosity for traditional textile techniques with new emerging technologies, her experimental approach allows her to explore a wide range of perspectives within contemporary material research. With an eye on detail and an interest in culture and craftsmanship, she constantly experiments with the diverse aspects of materiality and structure.
Working areas include textiles, fashion, interior and interaction design. After her studies she was working in various collaborations as well as on a funded research project at ETH-Zürich focussing on cross-disciplinary concepts, linking technology and design perspectives.
